The Game Lab is our showcase of games and puzzles that are ready for early adopters and seekers of novel tabletop gaming adventures. The products listed here are available for sale, and have been crafted in small batches, often by hand. We invite you to discover these fully formed, meticulously crafted games and puzzles, and to be part of their journey to regular production.
What is a Game Lab product?
Complete, but small-batch
Each game or puzzle listed on this page is made with care using low-volume manufacturing processes. Our goal is to bring these products to you as quickly as possible. By using digital printing presses, laser-cutting machines, and even a bit of elbow grease, we craft each Game Lab product by hand, and inspect each component before it goes into the box. Small-batch production allows us to release new games and puzzles more quickly, too.
Although the look and feel of a Game Lab product may be a bit different from the version that graduates to regular production, we work hard to ensure that it looks great, plays well, and stands up to repeated use.
Live tutorials built-in
Game Lab products have been extensively playtested, and we are thrilled to have you experience them for yourself. In fact, each game purchased in the Game Lab program includes a complimentary live video tutorial by the game designer. This allows you to learn first-hand how to play directly from the creator, and it also allows us to take your valuable feedback on these cutting-edge games before they enter full production.
